Non-Fiction:

"How to be American" - an autobiographical essay I wrote during Fall of 2016 on my identity and culture, and how these two aspects of me work to shape who I am. I also discuss some experiences I've had firsthand with racism throughout my everyday life.

"I have never been in love" - my submission to the NYTimes column "Modern Love."

Poetry:

Fiction:

"Emotions" - What would our emotions look like if we could see them?

"9 Recipes For Curing Heartbreak" - I tell a story through the use of recipes.

"Keeper of the Light" - With every lighthouse comes a tale, and this particular one features a strange and eerie backstory.

"Multifaceted" - Everybody has a chip embedded in the back of their necks that dictates their identities depending on who they're around and what mainstream society sees them as. Written for my Asian American Studies class in the fall of 2017.
